Naked soul in front of life

The walls of hospitals have heard a prayer more sincere than all the prayers of mosques and the hymns of temples...
And they have seen tears falling from the palms of their hands, deeper than all the farewells of travelers.
Here... the rich kneel beside the poor, and the policeman breathes the same air as the prisoner.
Here... the wealthy wait for a liver that might save him, not asking if the donor has enough to eat.
In these white rooms, where death touches the edges of hope,
all differences collapse, and our souls stand exposed before the truth:
"We are nothing but passersby, sharing the same fragility and weakness."
The moment of pain and suffering is the only mirror that shatters our masks...
In it, we see ourselves: fearful, honest, pleading, embracing life with all our remaining strength.
Why do we wait for things that may never come?
Life goes by like lightning...
Don't waste it on:
- Futile quarrels,
- Or endless self-blame,
- Or complaints that eat away at your joy,
- Or worrying about expenses you won't remember when you leave.
Hug those you love... tightly, as if tomorrow is uncertain.
Wear your favorite clothes today... Don't save them for a "special occasion" that may never come.
Drink water from your crystal glass... even if you're alone.
Apply your most expensive perfume to your skin... You deserve it more than the air.
We postpone happiness as if we have another life.
"I will forgive when I'm calmer... I will travel when I'm rich... I will live when everything is perfect!"
But the bitter truth is that perfection is an illusion... and now is all you have.
This life is not a destination... but a short learning journey.
With the humility of a realizer, live as if you were a passing guest.
Love unconditionally... and forgive as you would want others to forgive you.
Walk the path of your heart... and let others follow their paths.
End your day with this wisdom:
Your planting of goodness today... is the tree under which you will find shade tomorrow.
