Peace of Mind

Peace of Heart Between a Past Gone and a Future Yet to Come

Do not carry the weight of yesterday on your shoulders, and do not race ahead into tomorrows that have not yet arrived.

The past—with all its mistakes and regrets—cannot return, so do not let it imprison your present. The future—with its unknowns and worries—has not come, so do not waste today in anxious waiting.

Wisdom lies in living the moment as it is: to mend what can be mended, to be grateful for what we hold, and to entrust the unseen to God’s mercy and care.

Every age has its beauty:

  • The young must learn not to fear failure.

  • The adult must stop punishing themselves for what is already done.

  • The elder must allow their heart to rest from the heaviness of years.

Inner peace is a gift only to those who leave the past behind, welcome the future without fear, and embrace today with serenity and gratitude.
